Shewolf - iPad

Description

Two different versions of an almost finished she wolf. One with lines and more of an animated style (I suppose) and the other without. I'd like to choose a direction before finishing one, but I like the idea of both...

Moving this from my iPad to Photoshop so I can more easily do things like change eye color, blur, etc.

First off, very nice work here! You've done very well on the expression and detail. The one with the less realistic style is nice, however the background lacks contrast in comparison to the other, more realistic piece. The one thing that does stand out to me in both though is the lips, which seem kind of bear-like on the bottom. From what I've noticed in photos and such, most wolves' lips won't go out like that as prominently. Though it does add to the ferocity of the piece, but it also makes the wolf look more like a bear. Though some wolves do this, it's less noticeable. Other than that, I feel like the lighting could be blended a bit better. All in all, I think you've done very well here, and this is a very nice piece.
